CPU

The Intel processor comes in four flavors: Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, and Core i9. All you need to know is that the higher the last number, the higher the performance - you are comparing it to chips of the same generation. Given MSI's new gaming laptops using the latest and greatest tenth-generation CPUs ever, this is a mode point, so we don't need to have fun here.

You can also give away the Core i3 chip, which is a budget processor that is not really suitable for gaming. Thanks, MSI agrees - none of their models packed the I3 and cut corners. MSI's latest laptops provide you with the CPU power you need for gaming.

With that in mind, the i5 is more of an entry-level chip and powerful enough for most games, but as the years go by it could prove to be a hurdle. Conversely, the i9 is at the top of the line if you're interested in future-proofing your laptop - and the cost to match it. For us, the happy medium is the i7 chip: enough processing power to easily run the latest games without breaking the bank.

RAM

Radam is also important for gaming performance. This place stores data for quick access to your computer, and the better the games, the better.

While most games list 4GB of RAM as the minimum requirement for a good gaming experience, MSI Sensitive starts its range from 8GB, it goes up to 32GB for its top-of-range models for almost all gamers, 16GB is fine And probably in the near future. Up to 32GB will support some games - the claimed Flight Sim Digital Combat Simulator World offers it for more complex missions - but it is vital in 2020.

Graphics

If you want to spread a single element, this is the place to do it. Your graphics chip - or GPU - has a lot to say about what resolution you can play with and how you can push that detail.

This is not to say that GTX GPUs are slow, and that they will last long enough for most titles in the short to medium term. But if you want to push triple-image frame rates, you'll want an RTX card. If your budget doesn't stretch so far, choose a GTX 1660-series card rather than at least a 1650 card. The difference between the two is noticeable.

Each NVIDIA card comes in two or three classes: Regular, Super, and Ti. Ti is the fastest, then the super than the vanilla card. Just be aware that a regular chip will beat the earlier generation TI version - in other words, 1660 is better than 1650.

Screen space

The most important thing to keep in mind with laptop screens is the refresh rate measured in hertz (hertz), and the response time is measured in milliseconds (ms).
