Why MSI Gaming Laptops Are So Perfect for Any Type of Gamer

Why MSI Gaming Laptops Are So Perfect for Any Type of Gamer

Gaming laptops can be expensive, so it's best to do your research before buying one. It is important to stock up on the glasses you need to play your latest games as well as the elements that make these glasses possible.

The glasses are almost as important as the company you are buying the laptop from. As far as it goes, MSI is easy to recommend. The firm has been in the computer business for more than 30 years, making it one of the world's most trusted gaming laptop manufacturers.

One of the best things about MSI is the countless choices it offers to gamers looking to buy a new portable. But there are quite a few laptops across four different series - GE, GS, GL, and GF - it may seem very tedious for you to pick the right one. So before we jump into what each MSI series will offer, let's break down what you need to know, starting with what specs and components you need to look for in 2020.

Pick the best ingredients

I'm going to divide it into four parts: CPU, RAM, GPU, and screen. Yes, other factors are important, but these are the ones that affect your gaming the most, and if you weigh the cost over the performance, these are the key areas where you want to focus.

CPU

The Intel processor comes in four flavors: Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, and Core i9. All you need to know is that the higher the last number, the higher the performance - you are comparing it to chips of the same generation. Given MSI's new gaming laptops using the latest and greatest tenth-generation CPUs ever, this is a mode point, so we don't need to have fun here.

You can also give away the Core i3 chip, which is a budget processor that is not really suitable for gaming. Thanks, MSI agrees - none of their models packed the I3 and cut corners. MSI's latest laptops provide you with the CPU power you need for gaming.

With that in mind, the i5 is more of an entry-level chip and powerful enough for most games, but as the years go by it could prove to be a hurdle. Conversely, the i9 is at the top of the line if you're interested in future-proofing your laptop - and the cost to match it. For us, the happy medium is the i7 chip: enough processing power to easily run the latest games without breaking the bank.

RAM

Radam is also important for gaming performance. This place stores data for quick access to your computer, and the better the games, the better.

While most games list 4GB of RAM as the minimum requirement for a good gaming experience, MSI Sensitive starts its range from 8GB, it goes up to 32GB for its top-of-range models for almost all gamers, 16GB is fine And probably in the near future. Up to 32GB will support some games - the claimed Flight Sim Digital Combat Simulator World offers it for more complex missions - but it is vital in 2020.

However, hey: some future-proof is always great

Graphics

If you want to spread a single element, this is the place to do it. Your graphics chip - or GPU - has a lot to say about what resolution you can play with and how you can push that detail.

MSI laptops come with NVIDA GTX or RTX chips but we will recommend the latter. Not only are the RTX 20-Series GPUs fast they also support ray tracing, providing light effects like shadows and reflections in real time for unprecedented realism in supported games. Simply put, you should seriously consider buying a laptop with the latest invention of Ray Tracing Gaming Graphics and a GPU designed to deliver those advanced graphics.

This is not to say that GTX GPUs are slow, and that they will last long enough for most titles in the short to medium term. But if you want to push triple-image frame rates, you'll want an RTX card. If your budget doesn't stretch so far, choose a GTX 1660-series card rather than at least a 1650 card. The difference between the two is noticeable.

Each NVIDIA card comes in two or three classes: Regular, Super, and Ti. Ti is the fastest, then the super than the vanilla card. Just be aware that a regular chip will beat the earlier generation TI version - in other words, 1660 is better than 1650.

Screen space

The most important thing to keep in mind with laptop screens is the refresh rate measured in hertz (hertz), and the response time is measured in milliseconds (ms). The former is how to reproduce the image of a screen in about a second, then the second is how the pixels of any display can be quickly turned from active to inactive.

Or to put it another way, the refresh rate puts a cap on the number of frames that can play per second, while a low response time prevents image ghosting. Most MSI 2020 gaming laptops come with a promisingly low response time of 3 ms, while the refresh rate is 120Hz - meaning you can comfortably reach a value of 120 fps. High-end laptops can go as high as 300Hz, which means you can theoretically hit a battery smooth 300fps in games - although it certainly depends on the power of your other interiors.

Resolution is also a factor, but all MSI laptops have an FHD screen rather than 2K or 4K pressures. From a performance standpoint this is understandable: not only is 1080p gaming smooth, it also drains battery life.
