Difference between Oneplus 8 Pro vs Samsung S20 + vs Samsung S20 Ultra

Difference between Oneplus 8 Pro vs  Samsung S20 + vs  Samsung S20 Ultra

Today Guys, I give you one blog about one specification comparison among three flagship most popular brand smartphones in the world. If you have to plan to buy a smartphone among three smartphones then please read the article completely. Next, if you have further doubt please let us inform through commenting in the blog. Hope you will like it.

All the devices being compared here offer IP68 water and dust resistance and all of them have in-display fingerprint sensors. So there are a lot of similarities here. In terms of build and looking, you don't get a less premium device with OnePlus.

Display

OnePlus 8 Pro: 6.78-inch, Quad HD +, 120Hz
Samsung S20 +: 6.7-inch, Quad HD +, 120Ad
Samsung S20 Ultra: 6.9-inch, Quad HD +, 120Ad
The OnePlus 8 Pro has a 78.7878-inch display with a quad HD + resolution that gives a pixel density of 513ppi. It provides a ratio of 19.8: 9 and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 + has a 6.7-inch display with a quad HD + resolution and 525ppi, making it the same size as the OnePlus 8 Pro, while the Ultra 6.9-inch is larger with a quad HD + resolution even though it has 5 pixel density.

Both Galaxy devices have a 120Hz refresh rate display - like the OnePlus - Samsung currently only allows you to turn it on if the resolution is set to full HD +. This means you have to choose between sharpness and fast animations. OnePlus lets you launch two at the same time without compromise.

Yet, despite this, all three displays are really great and easily the best available on any smartphone. They are sharp, lively and responsive.

All devices compared to this feature have an AMOLED panel and it supports HDR10 +.

The camera

OnePlus 8 Pro: 48MP main, 8MP telephoto, 48MP Ultra Wide, 5MP color filter
Samsung S20 +: 12mm main, MP4MP telephoto, 12MP ultra wide, deepthvision
Samsung S20 Ultra: 108MP Head, 48MP Telephoto, 12MP Ultra Wide, DepthVision
The camera section is probably the most distinct of these devices.

The OnePlus 8 Pro has a quad rear camera, made with a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor and a 5-megapixel color filter sensor. It has various features including dual LED flash and video HDR, smart pet capture mode and 3x hybrid zoom.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 + also has a quad rear camera, consisting of a 12-megapixel main sensor, a -4-megapixel telephoto sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra wide sensor and a flight sensor with deep vision time.

Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has a 108-megapixel main sensor, a 48-megapixel telephoto sensor, a 10x hybrid optic periscope lens, a 12-megapixel ultra wide sensor and a depth vision sensor.

Despite the impressive sounding 100x space zoom in our tests, we had a few issues with the S20 Ultra camera. In addition to the final focal length being no more ultra-zoom than a gimmick, there were other issues with focusing on keeping items close. The S-20+ may have less jaw-dropping spot sheets but it gave us less problems overall and performed better. Such as OnePlus.

The 8 Pro's primary and ultra-wide cameras are great and the zoom is useful, even the color and detail don't quite match the other two main cameras. As a color filter camera, it’s a bit weird and lets you be creative but doesn’t give anything away spontaneously.

Hardware and specifications

OnePlus 8 Pro: Qualcomm SD 865, 8/12 GB RAM, 128/256 GB storage, 4510 mAh battery
Samsung S20 +: Qualcomm SD 865 / Exynos 990, 12 GB RAM, 128/256/512 GB storage, 4500 mAh battery
Samsung S20 Ultra: Qualcomm SD 865 / Exynos 990, 12/16 GB RAM, 128/256/512 GB storage, 5000 mAh battery

The OnePlus 8 Pro runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage or 12GB RAM and 256GB storage with no microSD support for further storage expansion.

Both the Samsung Galaxy S20 + and S20 Ultra run on Exynos 990 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processors depending on the region. Both have 12GB of RAM as standard but the Ultra also comes with a 16GB option. There are various storage options including 128GB, 256GB and 512GB models, including the proposal to expand the microSD storage up to 1TB.

In terms of everyday speed and performance, the OnePlus and Samsung phones will give you a fast, responsive experience. We did not notice any significant differences between the three. It is not surprising that the same specifications and power are available in these.

In terms of battery power, the OnePlus 8 Pro has a 4510 mAh battery, the Samsung Galaxy S20 + has a 4500 mAh battery and the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra has a 5000 mAh battery. On testing, the OnePlus was one that might have lasted a little longer, but again there's not a huge amount of it. Samsung is really at the top of its battery longevity games this year.

One area where you will notice a difference is charging speed. With 30W wireless charging, the OnePlus gives full charge in 30 minutes.

The three devices being compared here have 5G enabled.

Conclusion

The OnePlus 8 Pro sits in the middle of both the Samsung Galaxy S20 + and the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, but it's a bit cheaper than both models, instead coming at the same price as the standard Galaxy S20.

Despite the price difference, there are a lot of similarities between the three devices. Everyone has a great display, premium design, powerful hardware and good software experience.

samsung s20+

You'll get microSD support on Samsung devices, especially with some interesting camera functionality on the S20 Ultra, but you pay more for these features - much more in the Ultra case - so the decision between these handsets will come down to your budget and features being the most important to you.

All in all, we don't think you'll miss out on the real everyday performance and capabilities with the OnePlus 8 Pro instead of these two Samsung phones.
